Advantages of Tempered Vacuum Glass 

1、Heat insulation

The U-value of vacuum glass can be as low as 0.4W/(m2-K), and the thermal insulation effect of 8.3mm thick V-glass exceeds that of 1.5m thick brick wall.

The high vacuum cavity of V-glass effectively blocks the heat transfer, and its thermal insulation performance is 2-4 times that of insulating glass and 6-10 times that of monolithic glass, and its performance can reach the international passive house requirements for heat transfer coefficient of door and window glass.

2、Sound insulation and noise reduction

The weighted sound insulation exceeds 39dB, even in the downtown area, it is like being in a library.

The high vacuum cavity of V-glass effectively blocks the sound propagation, and its sound insulation effect is much better than that of the insulating glass, especially for reducing the low and medium frequency noise (such as traffic noise and construction noise) which has strong penetrating power.

3、Not easy to condensation

No condensation even at -50℃, ultra-low dew point gives building doors, windows or cold cabinets a transparent visual effect. v-glass inner cavity does not have the problem of internal condensation, at the same time, its high thermal resistance also greatly reduces the dew point on the surface.

4、Tempered Safety

The surface stress and granularity are in line with the standard of tempered glass, and it has passed a number of safety tests such as wind pressure and impact performance. A single piece of V-glass can withstand 1.7m high sand column pressure, which is equivalent to withstanding the uniform load of 40 adults with an average weight of 70kg per square meter of V-glass.

V-glass adopts unique low-temperature sealing technology, which retains the safety characteristics of tempered glass and impact resistance, and even if the glass is broken, its honeycomb particles are not easy to hurt people.

5. Thin and light structure

The 8.3mm thick V-glass weighs only 20kg/㎡, which greatly reduces the storage and logistics costs.

In the case that the U-value is better than that of three-glass and two-cavity insulating glass, the thickness of V-glass is only one-fourth of that of three-glass and two-cavity insulating glass, and the weight of each square meter is reduced by more than 10kg.

6、Multi-environment

The high vacuum cavity of V-glass does not expand or contract, so its use is not affected by geography or altitude. In addition, the U-value of V-glass is constant when it is used horizontally or tilted, which ensures energy-saving effect.

7、Long life

The life expectancy of V-glass can be more than 25 years.

Adopting flexible sealing material, it overcomes the problem of sealing failure caused by brittle sealing material due to large temperature difference between two sides of the glass. Meanwhile, the built-in gas absorber can maintain the high vacuum of the inner cavity of the glass for a long time.
